Firm Profile

We are a small and successful professional services company. We provide pro-active advice to our clients making them more profitable, minimising their tax liabilities and building their wealth. They appreciate that. 

We're a friendly and accessible team committed to providing the best business advice for our clients. This is done by building strong relationships based on knowledge, ability and trust. By combining ideas and expertise we create practical solutions. These improve clients' profits, grow their wealth and reduce their stress.

Further, we have established sound relationships with top end tax specialists (for the really serious stuff), legal advisors, finance and investment consultants and IT professionals to ensure our client's needs are met.


GEOFF DEVINE
is the founding director of Devine Consulting Limited.

He has over 30 years experience providing business and taxation advice to businesses in a diverse range of industries. His experience was enhanced as a partner in the business advisory division of KPMG Auckland prior to the establishment of Devine Consulting Limited.

Geoff's specialist skills include business restructuring, budgeting, start-ups, business succession planning and valuations. And listening.

He prides himself on the empathy he has with his clients. He believes the key to becoming a valued advisor is to show initiative, be creative and getting involved with the business of his clients. He approaches this with more communication, frequent contact and a "no jargon" approach to his clients.

ERIN RENNIE 
has been working with Geoff at Devine's since 2006. She became a partner in 2007. 

She has over 26 years of chartered accounting experience. This includes a strong rural background having spent 12 years working in the Ruapehu region (Yes! It's a fact. There is a rewarding life beyond the Bombay Hills!!!) 

For the past 14 years Erin has been back working in Auckland. The challenges of providing accounting services and tax advice to a wide array of clients are stimulating and enjoyable. 

Erin has a specialty in Trusts and belongs to the NZICA Trust's Special Interest Group. She still keeps her hand in with farm accounting by managing the Firm's rural clients.

Erin enjoys the close relationship she builds with each of the Firm's clients to deliver the unique style of service and interest for which Devine Consulting prides itself.
